The writing of “The Man in the Black Suit” has been the most challenging writing of my life and equally the most healing. On April 5, 2014, my best friend and great supporter abruptly departed this life due to a massive heart attack. Their sudden flight from time into eternity thrust my life into “The Next Phase!” This book has been emerging for about thirteen years, awaiting its season on fragments of loose-leaf paper. As the winds of change blew, I was forced into a place of transformation, and my life was sifted through a fine strainer. In the blink of an eye, everything comfortable and familiar vanished. And I was left alone--alone staring in the mirror at me.
Torn from everything familiar, I was thrust into a battle for my sanity, and my only hope for survival was to strike a firm balance between life and death; here began my “Spiritual Sabbatical.” Face to face with every open wound in my soul, I surrendered to the plan that came to awaken and heal me. continue reading
